CHUPACABRA

"Over a decade ago, farmers in Calama, a mining town in the heart of Chile's harsh northern desert, awoke to find their goats and sheep dead in their pens. An unidentified predator had mutilated the animals' necks. By the time the television cameras arrived, the rumor of a Chupacabra attack, Chile's first, was spreading fast through the slender Pacific nation."

The Chupacabra has become one of the most common beasts studied under the general heading of cryptozoology, said being a mix of vampire and marauding, furry lizard. No one has ever caught one of these nasty little creatures, yet there are dozens of eyewitnesses claiming to have seen it.
Many in Puerto Rico described the animal as having a "reptilian body, oval head, bulging red eyes, fanged teeth and long, darting tongue," according to a report at the time in the daily San Juan Star.

Feeding off of livestock, mainly chicken and goats but they also enjoy sheep or cows, the Chupacabra attacks at night and kills its prey by draining it's body of blood with a single bite to the neck. Leaving the intact dead remains for the farmer to discover the next morning.
No one knows where this creature could have come from, some speculate a NASA experiment gone wrong but haha the chances? Some people say the chupacabra is just a cyote suffering from servere mange. I say it's just another species we are not yet familiar with, if this beast even exists.
